Junkers can be wood, sand floors and stained again?
We Junkers wooden flooring that has a Lacquer Finish. Is this can be sanded back and Restaino? It is looking a bit tired and Ideally I wish I was a little darker than the finish of pear tree is now.
Rental sites give instructions on how to successfully remove old finish their hardwood floors. They sell the sandpaper of various grits and rental of the two types of sanders you need. (A belt sander for most of the room and an orbital sander for the edges and corners.) When you go to the hardware store, ask about stains and finishes. I never spotted any story that I have sand, and preferred, as long as the layer three times with water-based urethane. There are products that said to be two-in-one (the stain and urethane). I do not recommend because you do not like the effect and the correction is just that much more difficult to do. Hardwood floors increase the resale value of a large house and well worth the time and effort.
